Academic Listening Skills

Having a technique for listening actively and taking notes helps you study more effectively

While listening during lectures, you need to be able to identify which parts of the lecture are important to note down. You need to capture the relationships between the ideas/concepts that are being presented by your lecturer. You also should be able to anticipate how the information that comes up connects with what has been presented so far in order to enhance your ability to understand the lecture.
